Colin Hoschke - Executive Chairman

Colin Hoschke brings more than 40 years experience in the Australian IT industry to his role as Executive Chairman of Mainpac Pty Ltd. He began his career in the first data processing department of the AMP society before moving to the Sydney Stock Exchange where he was operations manager.

During his there he met an analyst, Bill Wacher, who floated what was an unusual idea for the time - starting a software company - which he did in 1969. Colin joined Bill as a partner in that business and in 1975 acquired control of the company. He remained proprietor of that business until 1997 when he sold it to a UK-headquartered global IT group.

Colin has been involved with Mainpac since 2001 and his vision is to make the Mainēt solution an industry leading Enterprise Asset Management System.

James Kirk - CEO

James Kirk joined Mainpac in 2004 in the role of national client services manager and was then handed the CEO's reins mid 2005. James joined Mainpac from the IT services company Praxa Limited with more than 20 years experience in the computer, communications/networking, consulting and manufacturing industries. He has general management, sales/management, international and solutions marketing, as well as business development experience.

Early in his career James spent 14 years with NCR in industry marketing and sales positions in Australia and the USA. His overseas career also included an assignment with AT&T Global Information Solutions responsible for industry and worldwide partnership marketing before returning to Australia in the mid 1990s. Having established an Asia Pacific consulting partners program for networking company Novell Asia Pacific, James then spent several years with Andersen Consulting/Accenture managing joint venture, alliance and business development programs in the Asia Pacific region.

James' is currently overseeing a comprehensive sales and marketing program in Australia and international markets for Mainpac's new .NET-based suite of applications software for asset and maintenance called Mainēt.

Richard Kneeves - Chief Financial Officer

Richard Kneeves joined Mainpac and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in February 2006. Prior to joining Mainpac, Richard had 30 years experience in the IT industry and has held various senior roles much of which as Finance Director giving him vast experience with an international group of companies, publicly listed companies, acquisitions and divestments. Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with merit) from the University of NSW, is a CPA and a registered Tax Agent.
