Core Functionality

The core functionality of all Mainpac Solutions includes operational assets definition, maintenance planning and execution, inventory, purchasing, remote work order request, project management integration, work safety financial assets.

Operational Assets Definition

This functionality enables the definition of the operational assets, their location, their relationships and their characteristics. It is through the definition of the asset in this module and the setting up of appropriate relationships location hierarchies and other classifications that the effective maintenance and reporting of assets and maintenance activity and costs is maintained. This functionality includes the definition of plant spares.

Maintenance Planning and Execution

This includes all work order control functions. The setting up of template work orders and tasks to define future jobs, the forecasting of future maintenance jobs, the raising of unplanned work orders, work order scheduling are all part of this functionality. This functionality is also supported by a comprehensive list of other functions including, usage recording, rotables, faults, defects, resources, employees, kit lists, costs, budgets.

Purchasing

This functionality covers stock and non-stock items by providing support for suppliers, purchase orders, receipts and invoices, as well as taxes multi-currency calculations.

Inventory

Inventory manages all stock control and warehousing functions including stock recording, issues and returns, multiple suppliers, recommend items, costing, stocktake and associated reporting.

Work Order Request

Work order request provides an alternative work order entry system. It allows users to enter a simple work order description and problem which can be converted into a work order by the maintenance planner.

Work Safe

This is a comprehensive work safety instruction and hazardous equipment definition isolation facility. It allows the creation of work methods, detailing all precautionary safety work procedures associated with hazardous work orders and plant areas as well as isolation of relevant plant prior to the commencement of potentially dangerous work.
